We are excited for the Spring Season to begin. Thank you to all of you who participated in our Fall/Winter season for the wonderful year. We had record registration numbers, as our players developed and thrived in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
On April 2nd we will be hosting our Season Opening Event at Trasolini Field at 6pm.
We will have fun activities, fun soccer stations, fun soccer games, renowned children’s DJ Rock ‘N’ Beau will MC the event, shooting and dribbling challenges, and free hot dogs. We hope you join us for this fun community event.
SPRING TEAMS STILL HAVE A FEW SPOTS
Our Spring Teams are almost finalized. Our registration numbers are record braking, yet again. We are on a trend for the past few years in which each season, Spring and Fall/Winter, we have been experiencing significant growth. We have well surpassed last year’s numbers already for this upcoming Spring. When you open your MOJO app in the next few days (after receiving the email from Mojo) you will be able to see your child’s team, coaches, and practice times / locations. There might be some slight changes to the rosters as more players register.

Games will be uploaded as soon as we get that information from the league (they are in process of finalizing who plays who which week and if home or away). Process is we, Port Moody SC, are informed of the schedule, we download all the games for all the age groups, then we need to set times for our teams’ home games, and upload in the league web site, and then inform MOJO so they can upload on the app for us. At this stage we, like all the other Soccer Clubs in the lower Mainland are at the stage of waiting for the league to schedule who plays who when. Hopefully we and all the other clubs get the schedule soon, and then we will upload them ASAP.

MOJO APP
We are piloting Mojo app for all the club, and team communication for the Spring Season. Mojo is a great app as it allows for improved communication between parents on the team and chat function, which we hope continues to build our fantastic PMSC community. It is also a great way for coaches to communicate to the parents, and we will have all the games and practices uploaded in the app. Finally, it will allow our Technical Director and Head Coach to send Age Appropriate curriculum each week, with videos of kids performing the same activities at some of the top clubs in the world, such as Barcelona. We currently send Age Appropriate Session plans to the coaches, and are quite proud of our PMSC curriculum, but we have identified added benefit of videos to our coaches, which will in turn ultimately benefit all our players. Parents will also be able to see these videos and session plans each week, and see what their child will be / is working on. So please keep an eye on an invite from Mojo to download the app in the next few days / week and make sure you follow the prompts.
