Player safety and ongoing coach education is of the utmost importance to the Port Moody Soccer Club, in conjunction with BC Soccer. This page has been designed to provide the coaches, parents and players with educational health, fitness, safety and age appropriate coaching resources.
Were you injured playing soccer?
All registered Port Moody Soccer Club players and team officials are covered by an umbrella insurance policy provided by BC Soccer – coverage runs Aug 1 through July 31. The policy provides some compensation for pain and suffering and medical expenses in the event that a player or team official is injured during a practice or game. Note that there is a limited time frame from the date of the injury to file a claim. For more information visit the BC Soccer website.

The Port Moody Soccer Club has partnered with Strive Health and Performance and Complete Concussion Management™ (CCMI), a leading concussion research group, which involves a network of clinics across Canada with specialized training and certification in the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of concussions.We recognize that the improper management of concussions can result in potentially permanent or fatal outcomes.
