Divisional (U13 - U18)
Divisional U13-U18 Program (2000 - 2005 born)
Players in the U13-U18 program will play 11v11, on a full-sized field with full-sized nets, playing full rules competitive soccer. As with the younger divisions, the focus for ALL our youth programs is on having fun and building a love for soccer. Team and individual skill development continues. In the competitive U13+ divisions, there are multiple levels of play available. Players are selected to teams through a ‘tryout’ process and are placed on teams with players of a similar calibre. Scores are tallied for games and teams will be ‘placed’ – thus enabling teams to compete in District, Regional, Provincial and National cup matches post season.
All teams attend one game and one coach-led practice each week. Players that participate in a high performance stream also attend a technical practice each week. All players looking to improve their soccer skills are encouraged to sign up for the PMSC Euro Pro Academy Sessions – Mondays for high performance players and Fridays for all players (players from other clubs are welcome).
Boys continue to play on Saturdays and girls on Sundays, however some teams may have games on the alternate days depending on final schedules.
Team rosters are determined in the spring after tryouts have occurred. The Club’s technical staff will determine the best team (physically, socially and emotionally) for each player.
Each player will be provided a team jersey, soccer shorts and soccer socks – this uniform may be worn for practices and is required for all games.
Your child will need the following:
- Soccer cleats (for games)
- Shin pads
- Water bottle
- Dry fit sports wear for under uniforms
