PMO's Joe Resends | CAN Para Soccer
Joe Resendes has just returned from Canada’s Para Soccer Team’s 4 day training Camp held at the Oakville Ontario Soccer club May 5 - 8th. This is the first training camp of 2016, in preparation for a World Championship qualifying tournament this July, in Denmark.
Joe currently has 8 Caps for Canada, most recently against Venezuela at the Para Pan American Games in 2015, in Toronto, scoring his first International
goal. Previously he has represented Canada in 2011 in Portugal, playing against both Holland and Portugal, and against Mexico in the 2005 Cerebral
Palsy World Championship in New London CT.
When Joe is available, he trains weekly with both our PMO Gunners Adult Program (U21 thru Premier).
Canada’s Para Soccer Team is made up of atheletes who have Cerebral Palsy or had had a stroke of brain injury.

He brings some national team experience to the squad and he is excited about representing Canada at the Parapan American Games. Resendes played some national team matches in 2008 and was a member of the 2005 World Championship squad.
