Letter from the President
Wow, does time fly. We are almost through half of the summer and the new season is almost upon us. Our dedicated volunteers are working hard behind the scenes to get ready for our September start.
In June, we had our club Annual General Meeting (AGM) and asked our membership to vote on some proposed changes to the way we operate and are organized. We now have eliminated the roles of VP Boys, VP Girls and VP Adult to focus on bringing the operations of the club more into alignment under Player Development, Coach Development and Marketing and Events. This should have us focused more on the programs and not be separated with different things happening in different groups. We also changed our bylaws to have our executive terms be for a period of two years. Some roles will run on even years, the others on odd years to ensure consistency of the board.
These executive roles will oversee committees comprised of our members who will represent all of our players and coaches and make recommendations to the board on how we need to move forward and run our club. We believe this is the best way to provide the best programs to all. Of course, we will be looking for volunteers to help out, so let us know if you are interested.

Director at Large/Coach Development – Larry Moro (2-year term)
Director at Large/Player Development – Amy Hendriks (2-year term)
Director at Large/Marketing and Events – Christine Milloy (1-year term)
With the AGM out of the way, we are all working at getting ready for the season, and there is a lot to do. Our Registrar has indicated that we still have lots of space left for more players to register, so please tell your friends and remind your teammates to sign up before it is too late! As a reminder, we are running our Annual Kick It! Soccer Fest for Girls on August 27th and we still have spots left, but time is running out. The event is open to girls aged 7 and up. You don’t have to be a member of our club to sign up, so girls should bring their friends. Please register for this awesome event, it’s free!
Also, in an effort to continue offering our members an amazing PMSC experience, we are updating the PMSC website again with an even better look and feel! Keep an eye out!
