    • Bob Favelle is an official Community Hero!

Bob Favelle - Official Port Moody Community Hero!

Since 1960 Bob Favelle has been involved with PMSC as a Player, Coach and Administrator, providing the members of the PMSC (and Tri-Cities Youth Soccer District) with exceptional contributions and vision that have furthered the growth, reputation and character of soccer in our community. As a former player of the club and current executive director of PMSC, Vice Chair of the Tri-Cities Youth Soccer and Vice Chair of the Fraser Valley Adult Men’s Soccer League, Bob’s experience and knowledge of the game of soccer in BC has been second to none. Respected among his peers within all districts, leagues, clubs and the BC Soccer Board, Bob is a true gentlemen of the game and we at the Port Moody Soccer Club are proud to have him representing our club.

On Friday Feb. 19, 2016 Bob Favelle was presented with the Community Sport Hero Award that is given annually by Sport BC, to individuals from local communities who make voluntary contributions to sport through coaching, officiating, board administration and special events. In his many years of soccer with the PMSC and up to as high as the BC Soccer Board level, Bob has made an impact on the sport of soccer.

We are extremely grateful for his dedication to the players, coaches, parents and volunteers of the Port Moody Soccer Club.

      Well done Bob!!!
