2016 Year End Jamboree Recap!

On Saturday Feb 27th, Heritage Woods turf was buzzing with activity as 350 U6, U7 players enjoyed their season end jamboree. The festivities started with a parade lead by Mayor Mike Clay and MLA Linda Reimer, and the teams got to display their team spirit, with many teams dressing to their team names for the day. Teams got to play a couple of soccer games, tried their luck at the fastest kick station (positioned inside an inflatable soccer field loaned by Soccer Express), and did some 'soccer bowling'. The Kinsmen were on hand to feed the hungry little soccer stars and their families, and players were rewarded with medals and bold super power T-shirts for their efforts throughout the season.

The Kick Start directors would like to thank all who helped out in the preparations leading up to the event, and on the day. Misty, Laura, Teri, Ralph, Bob, Larry, Rob, Steve and all he volunteers from the youth and adult teams - you all helped to make this a fun-filled day that our Kick Start players are going to remember.
