The Port Moody Soccer Club is proud to introduce the BU14 Provincial A-Cup Champions - The BU14 MSL AC Selects! Well done boys!!

After finishing off the round robin portion on this year's Provincial A Cup with a 2 wins & 1 tie record.

      Game #1: PMO - 0 Burnaby - 0

      Game #2: PMO - 5 Kamloops - 0

      Game #3: PMO - 5 Saanich - 1

The AC Selects stood up in first place and were to face the Burnaby Selects team for the Provincial A Cup Title this morning (Sun. July 12th)

After starting the game off strong and getting a few quick opportunities, the AC family all of a sudden found themselves in a hole going down 2 - 0 from goals at the 5 minute & 9 minute mark.

Determined to battle back quickly the AC boys evened it up at 2 - 2 before the half, with goals at the 30th & 33rd minute mark.

Then in the second half the Port Moody boys came out with an mission, scoring in the 2 minute of the half and then banging the back of the net again at the 14th minute mark of the second.

The Burnaby squad managed to sneak one by at the 32nd mark of the final half, but it was too little......too late, as the Port Moody AC Selects held on to win the game and complete this year's treble.

Big day for Ethan Gaddu as he scored 3 goals, capping of his Provincial play with a total of 8 goals in the 4 games. Carsen Maurice scored the games forth goal, which turned out to be the winner.

A great way to finish off an unbelievable season for the Port Moody (01) AC Selects!
