    • North Shore Turf (HWT) Field Advisory - June 26th

       Posted on: Jun 26, 2017

Field Advisory - Updated June 26th - North Shore Turf (HWT) field will be CLOSED  through June 30th.

The City has informed us that the closure of North Shore (Heritage Woods) turf has been extended a week until June 30, so it is not available for any practices or games.

Field Advisory still in effect - Updated June 18th - North Shore Turf (HWT) field will be CLOSED from June 19 through June 26.

The City has advised us this weekend that with the favourable weather for the coming week, they are ready to do the next steps in the completion of the running track at North Shore (Heritage Woods) turf field. As such North Shore Turf (HWT) field will be CLOSED from June 19 through June 26.

Give your players a well deserved week off :) Remember that technical training is still continuing this coming week at Trasolini field, per your usual schedule.

Those of you who asked for special practice times in preparation for tournaments and cup games, we are looking to see if we can organize some other options for you - will get back to you individually.

      Thank you for your patience.

      * Field Advisory still in effect - Updated June 17th

We have been working with the contractor to minimize the downtime and impacts to field access. To complete the first track layers we anticipated the access would be restricted to the field this week, however, we have been able to create a temporary access to the field and access will be open for the next few days.

**If you are accessing the field over the next couple of days, please be advised that NO PERSONS must walk onto the track or retrieve lost balls. The contractor will collect the balls and organize the return. Fixing footprints will add to the time and expense of the installation.

We hope to complete the early part of the installation as soon as we can, however, much of this schedule is dictated by the weather.

At this time, the process and quality of the installation is paramount as this leads to the longevity of the track.

      Thank you for your patience.
