2011-2012 Awards Presentation
The Port Moody Soccer Club values, recognizes and celebrates the community service and volunteer contributions of its players, coaches and volunteers. This year we will hold our 29th (give or take a couple of years) Annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. This tradition started with a small number of presentations made as a precursor to the AGM held at our Inlet Park clubhouse. As the club grew, this tradition of honouring some of our talented players, coaches and graduating teams required more space. This year the event will once again be held at the 360 seat Heritage Woods Theatre from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Award
Jacques Vaisey Award
Outstanding Micro Mini Coach
Established to perpetuate the memory of Jacques Vaisey, this award is presented to a micro-mini coach who goes that extra mile to develop a life-long love of the game in the Club’s youngest players.
Bob Favelle Award
Outstanding Boys U7-U12 Coach
Honours the outstanding coaching and team-building characteristics of one of the Club’s long-time coaches – Bob Favelle. Awarded to a coach from our boy’s non-competitive teams (U6–U11) who proudly represents our Club and continually strives to improve the quality of our players, on and off the field.
Noreen Miles Award
Outstanding Girls U6-U12 Coach
Honours the outstanding coaching and team-building characteristics of one of the Club’s long-time coaches – Noreen Miles. Awarded to a coach from our girl’s non-competitive teams (U6 – U11) who proudly represents our Club and continually strives to improve the quality of our players, on and off the field.
Leanna Logan Award
Volunteer of the Year
This award honours Leanna Logan, one of our clubs most dedicated volunteers, and is presented to a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution over an extended period to the development and promotion of the Port Moody Soccer Club.
Awarded to a non-competitive referee who exhibits clear knowledge of the rules of the game and shows a personal desire towards continuing education and learning about the game and the laws which govern it.
Competitive Referee of the Year
Awarded to a competitive referee who exhibits clear knowledge of the rules of the game and shows a personal desire towards continuing education and learning about the game and the laws which govern it.
Boys Competitive Team Runner Up
Based on points
Presented to the competitive (U12-U18) boy's team that has achieved the second best record of the season.
Boys Competitive Team of the Year
Based on points
Presented to the competitive (U12-U18) boy's team that has achieved the best record of the season.
Girls Competitive Team Runner Up
Based on points
Presented to the competitive (U12-U18) girl's team that has achieved the second best record of the season.
Girls Competitive Team of the Year
Based on points
Presented to the competitive (U12-U18) girl's team that has achieved the best record of the season.
Awarded to the boy’s team that best displays and supports our Club’s mission statement for integrity, fairness and respect, as these are the principles of sportsmanship and fair play.

Awarded to the male youth player (up to U18) who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to the spirit of the game by supporting his teammates as well as the Port Moody Soccer Club.
Awarded to the female youth player (up to U18) who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to the spirit of the game by supporting her teammates as well as the Port Moody Soccer Club.
Awarded to the female adult player (U21 and above) who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to the spirit of the game by supporting her teammates as well as the Port Moody Soccer Club.
